Heather – Insurance/Billing Coordinator
Heather is from Los Angeles, California where she started her dental career in 2002. Heather is a perfect fit for her job here at Allen Dental Center, as she possesses the patience necessary when working with Insurance! Heather is a proud Mommy to Giovanni. Away from work you’ll find her enjoying time with her Son, going to the movies and cheering on the L.A. Lakers!
Shelby – Dr. Brad's Scheduling Coordinator
Shelby recently joined our team and is already a vital part of our business office. She is a graduate of Abilene Christian University where she earned a Bachelor’s in Family Studies/Social Work. Shelby is married to Adam and they have 2 puppies, Bella and Jagger. Away from work you will find Shelby enjoying time with friends and family and cheering on the Texas Rangers.
Cheri – Registered Dental Assistant to Dr. Brad
Cheri joined Allen Dental Center in 2010 and found her niche. She has a sweet and gentle chair-side manner that makes patients feel right at home. Cheri is a devoted Mom to 3 wonderful girls. She cherishes life by spending time with family and good friends. Cheri plans to pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in dentistry. She found her calling here and is an integral part of our team!
Kim – Registered Dental Assistant to Dr. Steve
A member of our team since 2004, Kim has been a dental assistant for 16 years. She’s the proud mom of three boys and a menagerie of animals. Outside the office, Kim enjoys camping, horseback riding, painting, building things, fishing, and helping others.
Chandra – Registered Dental Assistant to Dr. Jeff
Chandra’s career in dentistry began in 1996 and she joined Allen Dental Center in 2007. Her soft-spoken manner and dedication to work makes patients feel well cared for and comfortable. Married, Chandra has two sons and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Nancy – Registered Dental Hygienist
Nancy joined our team in 2002 and has over 30 years of experience in dental hygiene. Aside from helping patients build strong, healthy smiles, Nancy enjoys gardening. She has been married over 33 years and has two wonderful kids. On the weekends you’ll find her in her garden, at the pool with friends and family or grilling some mean chicken!
Kendra – Registered Dental Hygienist
Kendra started her career as a dental assistant in 1995. With the support of her husband, she returned to college and graduated from Collin College with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 2004. Kendra is friendly, gentle, patient and has an understanding attitude that she brings to her patients daily. She is passionate about educating her patients regarding their overall health and the connection between the mouth and body. Kendra has been married to Kenneth for over 25 yrs and they have 3 children Kaylee, Hunter and Tanner. Kendra enjoys spending time with her husband, children, family, friends and pets. She loves to be outdoors going to baseball games (Go Rangers!), reading, volunteering, watching movies and shopping.
Lori – Registered Dental Hygienist
Lori started her career with us in 1999 as a dental assistant, then went back to school to become a dental hygienist with well wishes and support from Dr. Jeff and Dr. Steve. She returned to us in 2006 with her hygiene degree in hand and a smile on her face. Lori and her husband of over 25 years, Doug, have a daughter and son, Doug and Jami. Her Son Doug is an ASU graduate and has joined the work force. Jami will be graduating from college this year! Doug and Lori are enjoying their empty nest. Lori loves to spend time with her family and is an avid Cubs fan and truly hopes to watch them make it to the World Series.
Sarah – Registered Dental Hygienist
Sarah joined our team in 2006 after graduating from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1994. She and David, her husband of 17 years, have two beautiful children, Brooke and Matthew. Sarah’s family attends Central Baptist Church. In her spare time, Sarah likes to hang out with her family and friends and go to the movies.
Julia – Registered Dental Hygienist
Julia became a member of our team over 2 years ago. A recent graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry, Julia’s passion is helping people. She loves to educate our patients about proper oral healthcare. Julia has four younger siblings which helps her relate to the children who visit our practice. Outside the office, you may bump into Julia at the dog park with her American Bulldog.
Trish – Hygiene Coordinator
You’ve probably spoken to Trish when you called to schedule your hygiene appointment. She’s been an invaluable part of our hygiene team since 2003. When she’s not working, Trish cheers on her children at wrestling tournaments, soccer games, and orchestra concerts. She loves to write and hopes to take a writing class or work toward a master’s degree.
Beth – Dr. Jeff’s Scheduling Coordinator
A true asset to our practice, Beth brings over 30 years of experience to the team. Beth, a native Texan, has enjoyed her job for almost 5 years now noting that the patients, doctors and coworkers are wonderful! She is married and has two grown children and one grandchild. Away from the office, Beth enjoys quality time with her granddaughter and family.
Lara – Dr. Steve’s Scheduling Coordinator
Lara joined our team in 2008. She and her husband are the proud parents of four beautiful children, three boys and a girl. In addition to helping Dr. Steve’s patients, Lara likes to spend time with her family, swim, and scrapbook. She attends First Christian Church in McKinney, where she participates in the Adult Handbell Choir and the Education Committee. Come see Lara and her smile that was enhanced right here at the Allen Dental Center!
Laurie – Office Manager
Laurie joined our team in 2002, fell in love with dentistry, and believes that she has the greatest job in the world. She started as a scheduling coordinator for Dr. Jeff and Dr. Steve and now oversees the day-to-day operations of our practice. Laurie and her husband, Chris, have a wonderful daughter and son-in-law, as well as two terrific sons. She enjoys reading, singing in her church choir, dining out, jogging (so that she can go out to eat!), and watching her sons play basketball and softball.
Dena – Registered Dental Assistant to Dr. Steve
You are in good hands with Dena. She joined our team in 2010 bringing almost 20 years of experience in dentistry and becoming a vital part of the Allen Dental Center team. Dena's three wonderful children keep her busy playing football, basketball and cheering in Melissa, Texas when she isn't working.
Karrie – Registered Dental Assistant to Dr. Jeff
Karrie joined our team in 2011 with 20 years of dental experience and quickly became an essential part of our team. When she isn’t working, Karrie stays busy with her husband and four children. She enjoys gardening, photography, volleyball and softball!
